Posti has completed its second unmanned postal kiosk, located outside Posti’s headquarters in Helsinki.
The kiosk features parcel lockers for collection of parcels and lodging e-commerce returns. Customers can also send domestic and international parcels. Let’s not forget letters - customers can send domestic registered letters via the kiosk.
And what about customer service? Customers can contact Posti customer service personnel via a video link for help and advice.
An interesting feature of this new kiosk is that it’s in a glass container, meaning it can be transported to other sites.
The first kiosk was launched in June 2019 in the municipality of Askola.
The kiosk is open from 7am to 10pm, seven days a week.
The unmanned kiosk concept won Retail/Customer Service Innovation of the Year at the Parcel and Postal Technology International Awards announced at Parcel+Post Expo 2019 in Amsterdam.
