Italian e-commerce delivery company Milkman has secured €6.4 million in its second funding round.
Milkman’s revenue has grown from €450,000 in 2016 to €2.1m in 2017, with a target of €7m in 2018.
“Our goal is to help online retailers compete with a unique and distinctive quality of service and we are happy to see that our vision is also shared by the capital market for innovation.” - Antonio Perini, Milkman CEO
The funds raised will be used to finance the company’s expansion to cover the 12 most dynamic Italian provinces in terms of e-commerce revenues, with a potential market of 10 million clients.
Milkman offers e-commerce retailers an expanded range of delivery options, including time window delivery (as narrow as 30 minutes), in-flight redirections, and other interactive delivery management tools. Recipients can see their deliveries in real-time when their consignment is with the driver.
Clients include leading Italian and international brands such as Easy Coop, Eataly Today, Nespresso, Zara, Maxi Sport, Graffiti Shop, Tannico, Velasca and Yeppon.
