The Postal Hub Podcast is a media partner for the DELIVER#2 event being held in Berlin 27 - 28 June 2017.
The conference will bring together 800 delegates from 50 countries, including 450 retail decision makers, up to 150 logistics service providers, investors, e-commerce associations, along with policy makers and promising startups.
Keynote speakers include Karima Delli, Chair of the European Parliament Transport Committee, Maros Sefkovic, European Commission Vice President, and Tom Allason, Shipping Vice President of eBay.
Two main focuses at this year's conference will be robotics in fulfilment and delivery, as well as in mobility automation.
It's a carbon neutral affair. All CO2 emissions (including catering, air travel, car trips, and train journeys) will be offset in partnership with Pure Project. It's estimated that almost 400 trees will be planted.
The conference features one-to-one meetings, where decision makers from top companies will meet with the top suppliers in the region.
There is, of course, an awards ceremony. These awards are based on the votes by the attendees (retailers) and by committee. DPD scooped three awards at last year's inaugural event.
DELIVER#2 will be held in Berlin's Funkhaus, the 4.000 m2 hangar of the mythical State radio station from the former East Germany.
